Since I am still short a blog, here it goes to have completed requirements, which means that I always keep my promises, hint.
As Haanel appropriately buttresses: “fear must be completely eliminated; he must be expelled forever; he is the cloud which hides the sun;…..when fear is effectually and completely destroyed, your light will shine, the clouds will disperse and you will have found the source of power, energy and life.” This has been posited 2000 years ago by the famous, One and Only carpenter, King of the Universe, illustrating two laws: “The law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set me free from the law of sin and death.” Rom 8:2. The law of sin and death is created and fueled by fear. Its the reciprocal force of faith, which is the air and the heart beat of Life and Light. Fear is the counterfeit of faith and light and is only conducive to producing misery and ultimately, death. Now that would be terrible, even if we were only finite beings. No one deserves or should be living in death and destruction. But what about this: if we are infinite, and continue to be living in infinite fear, how horrendously desperate would that be. Now if we are religious, we have religious, man-made recipes, such as re-incarnation or re-direction after death. That would mean that there is strict dualism and disconnect between the life here and the life then; likewise, it could mean that the life beyond will reward us for the misery here. Some of that can be supported by biblical and other texts. However, if we believe that all is one and conclusively interdependent, then fear here will, in some way translate into fear there. Thank God for Grace. Now apart from the biblical concept of Grace and New Birth, principles endure and are applicable under all circumstances, as gravity is in the physical realm of life here. Therefore, I would suggest, and I believe, that living by faith is the only way to succeed here and there. Now faith and fear cannot co-exist, therefore fear must be all means obliterated. The must be a Safe Place in the midst of struggle, in the midst of war which would allow us to enjoy a proverbial “table in the presence of enemies, where my cups runs over….” (Ps 23:5) which then translates into a sanctuary of abundance. Working with Soldiers and having been in Africa during time of war, I know the most powerful tool utilized in the foxholes is Psalm 91, to be read by whoever is interested. Likewise, Faith translates us into the realm of where we desire to be; the realm of super-abundance of all ever desired, in all dimensions of our being. It is the eternal NOW and Now Faith IS.
